Busta 929 remembers his late friend and colleague, Mongezi Thomas Stuurman, famously known as Mpura. The Amapiano artist tragically died on the 9th of 2021 alongside Killer Kau and two others in a car accident. Taking to Instagram, Busta shared lovely photos taken with his late friend and captioned them with heart and bird emojis.
Fans flooded the comment with comforting and lovely words. While others joined the DJ to reveal the missing Mpura, others consoled the DJ.
According to IOL, it was reported the musicians were traveling in a Mercedes that overtook another car in a dangerous area, resulting in a head-on collision with an Opel Corsa, which also killed the driver, Sanza Mohumi, a firefighter.
The only survivor of the car accident, a lady shared her story in 2022; she sustained lots of injuries and she’s gradually recovering.
She claimed not to remember anything in the accident as she was sleeping when it happened; she opened her eyes in the hospital to realize they were involved in an accident.
