Big Zulu to host celebrity game 2024 in Durban

Big Zulu is excited about the forthcoming celebrity games happening on July 21. The South African music star is set to host the event and add a bit of spice to it. The gospel team won 2023 tournament, but he plans to add actors for this year’s game.

“In 2022, Amapiano team got knocked out and last year we saw the Gqom team packing up early in the tournament. The tournament is made up of four teams from different genres, now with both Amapiano and Gqom out, I’ll be looking to add actors.

There’s been a change in the location of the game, as it was formerly hosted in Johannesburg, but it will take place at at KwaZwelithini stadium, Umlazi, Durban.

“These games are for our people who’ve been supporting us in our craft, so we are taking these games to them. We didn’t want this game to be classified as a Johannesburg celebrity games event, so we’ll go to Limpopo, Western Cape, Northern Cape, North West etc,” Zulu said while explaining the relocation.

Big Zulu urged every artists that will be participating in the game to be fit. Players need to be fit, because our fans are leaving their things to spend their afternoon to watch us play soccer — readiness is essential
