International superstar Beyonce Knowles-Carter kicked off her latest stadium world tour in support of her latest critically acclaimed studio album Renaissance on Wednesday, 10 May 2023 in Stockholm. As much as the tour was one of the most anticipated social events of the year.

South Africans had little to expect as homage to the country given that Beyonce has yet to confirm if her tour would eventually come to the country. But now it seems that the chances of South Africa eventually landing on the Renaissance World Tour 2024 dates have increased exponentially.’

This comes as Beyonce referenced two notable South African acts during her debut Renaissance World Tour performance.

Beyonce becomes the latest star to co-sign Uncle Waffles

Back in 2019, Beyonce released her soundtrack to The Lion King’s live-action movie titled The Lion King: The Gift. On the album, there was the single My Power, which featured South Africa’s Moonchild Sanelly and Busiswa.

As such, Busiswa was surprised when viral clips of Beyonce using her vocals during the tour were circulated. When asked if she was aware, Busiswa confirmed that she was not and that she is in South Africa enjoying the clips like the rest of the country.

However, the biggest surprise came when Beyonce co-signed Uncle Waffles. This is because, during one of the transitions during the concert, Uncle Waffles’ Tanzania’s instrumental was sampled. As soon as Uncle Waffles was made aware, she took to Twitter to celebrate with the rest of the country.

In light of her recent co-sign with Beyonce, Uncle Waffles cements herself as one of the most successful Amapiano exports. This comes as she recently added Ciara as yet another US superstar that is in love with her. As reported:
