Netflix announce new animated Elvis Presley series starring Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey is staying busy after it was revealed that he is voicing Elvis Presley in the new animated series Agent Elvis.

The 53-year-old Oscar winner made his debut as the rock and roll legend on Monday when the teaser trailer for the new Netflix show was released.

The teaser trailer presents a version of Elvis at the height of his fame in the late 1960s or early ’70s as he’s conscripted into a secret crime-fighting organization known as TCB.
The show — which is set to premiere in March on the streamer — was first announced back in 2019, following news that Baz Luhrmann was making what turned out to be the hit biopic Elvis, starring Austin Butler.

The new teaser indicates that McConaughey is staying busy following Deadline’s report on Monday that he is in talks to lead a new Yellowstone spinoff series after its star Kevin Costner is looking to step back from the wildly popular series.
