But we’ve seen the voluminous shape start reappearing on a handful of stars this past year, from Deepika Padukone to Alicia Vikander.
The most recent A-lister on board with the look? Actor Florence Pugh, who wore a peplum gown to the 43rd annual London Critics’ Circle Film Awards in London on Sunday.
Bringing a dose of high drama to the red carpet, Pugh – who was nominated for Best British/Irish Actress for her role in The Wonder – wore an all-red look with a fanned out peplum from Robert Wun’s spring 2023 couture collection. The strapless, floor-length gown was completed by a theatrical red brimmed hat and sweeping veil.
