Drake Shades Kanye West With Dig At Fan’s Concert Attire

Drake

Drake has taken aim at frenemy Kanye West during a recent tour stop, once again highlighting their strained relationship. In a new video that surfaced on social media, the rapper pointed out a fan in the crowd who he began to compliment. But, it quickly went awry when Drizzy took the opportunity to throw shade at the controversial rapper and presidential candidate hopeful.

Drake

“My man, I like the fitted hat — you look good. Even though you got those Yeezys on. You still look good,” he said to the concertgoer, taking a jab at his choice of footwear, to an uproar of laughter from fans.

Check out the video below.

The 6 God’s latest dig is just the latest chapter in a long-standing Cold War with Ye.

Earlier this year, Drizzy dropped “Search & Rescue,” his first solo single in 2023, in which he used an excerpt from a conversation between Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner about the former’s divorce from West, rekindling his on-and-off-again beef with Kanye.

“I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy,” Kardashian tells her mother in a clip from an episode of their reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

The single’s cover art also appears to feature Drake alongside a woman who strikingly bears the likeness of Kardashian, a move many felt was another clear indication of trolling; considering the longstanding rumor the “Hotline Bling” rhymer once slept with the SKIMS mogul her marriage to West.

Combined with West’s previous long list of admissions he once stole Drake’s thunder by putting his five-album release month right in the middle of Drake’s Scorpion release, robbed him of the opportunity to flex on “Lift Yourself” (the property scoop song), and failed to encourage Pusha T not to dredge up old ghostwriting rumors on his diss — the pair just couldn’t seem to find common ground.

The news comes on the heels of Lil Yachty playfully trolling the OVO boss over a recent Instagram caption which could possibly double as some lyrics from the Champagne Papi.

“Least you can do is introduce me to the new you or the old clone or whatever she’s called But you expected me to know who she was all along They used to banish ppl from towns for things smaller than what you’re on,” Drizzy subliminally penned.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta native — who is known for having a brotherly friendship with Drake — didn’t understand the meaning of the comment and therefore let him have it in a playful way. “Y’all what do dis n-gga be talkin’ bout load of blabber am I right,” he wrote.
