Beyonce has finally dropped the most anticipated music video, “Brown Skin Girl”. However, the video is one of the tracks off of her Lion King companion album, The Lion King: The Gift. On Monday, the video was uploaded on YouTube which she featured her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, WizKid and Saint Jhn.
It was directed by Jenn Nkiru. Naomi Campbell, actress Lupita Nyong’o and Kelly Rowland, Beyoncé’s fellow Destiny’s Child were also seen in the video. Beyonce’s 8-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, sang the opening and closing of the track.
Beyonce shared a message stating that “Brown Skin Girl” was very important to her that she had to represent all different shades of brown and wanted every character to be shot in the video.

Brown Skin Girl‘ video is now on 2,466,751 views and 268k likes since its release on YouTube.
