Unathi reminisces over hosting Basadi In Music Awards 2023

Unathi Nkayi replaced Khanyi Mbau to host the Basadi in Music Awards 2023. The radio presenter had limited time to prepare and rehearse, but she excelled on the stage a couple of weekends ago. Taking to social media, Unathi shared some photos, revealing the outfits she rocked on stage to host the annual event.

She also penned down her experience, “I’ve hosted the biggest events in the country including the SAMAs four times and Mandela’s Cultural and Arts day at FNB stadium and many more.

BUT I have never sobbed as much I did before and after the Basadi Awards in ALL my life. Only having time for ONE rehearsal I was overwhelmed by the incredible show produced and simply didn’t want to disappoint ALL the incredible women who pour their hearts out on that stage.
