Traumatised Nina Hastie Sells Her Car After Thugs Try To Steal It. Following an incident where the comedienne’s Pearl White 500C Cabriolet drop-top was almost stolen, she has decided to sell it.
Left tramatised and shaken, Nina Hastie told Sunday Sun that she had to get rid of her drop-top after getting it fixed. According to the businesswoman, her car had moved from where she had parked it and was left damaged after a thug tried to break in and steal an item in the car. What left her shaken was that all of this unfolded at her home.
Damages to her car, which amounted to R15 000 were from the right-hand side, which saw her lock and window mechanism damaged. Indicating that someone had tried to tamper with the car.
She later opened a case at the Norwood police station in Johannesburg, with no arrests being made since August.
“The insurance paid for the damages, I’m not using that car anymore. I found that someone had tried to take something and couldn’t get it, the door was then left damaged,” she detailed.
