Zimbabwean artists have opted to take a united front recently following the continued cyberbullying the fellow musician, Mudiwa Hood has been receiving on social media.
And the latest musician to petition for his fans to stop their attack on Mudiwa is hip-hop artist, Stunner.
The Sugar Daddy musician posted an image of Mudiwa on his Instagram, and wrote in his caption that he feels partly to blame for the recent backlash that Mudiwa has been receiving on social media.
In his caption, Stunner explains why forgiving Mudiwa is important writing, “He is a hard worker, talkative, yes, but that’s him. For the sole reason that if he was to pass today, we would all mourn and cry.”
Stunner ended the post by tagging the musician, but Mudiwa has yet to publicly acknowledge Stunner’s posts calling a truce.
However, Stunner’s fans commented on the post by patting him on the back for the maturity he displayed by writing the Twitter.
It is unclear whether the two artists have actually made behind the scenes, but it is clear that Stunner is ready to focus on uniting the Zimbabwean music landscape rather than be part of what divides it even further.
