Somizi and Mohale founders of the Somhale foundation are doing their bit to help those in need during the national lockdown.
The couple took to social media to announce their foundation and it’s their first project, which kicked off on Saturday.
Somhale on Saturday distributed Makro vouchers to the value of R500 to 400 to families in Freedom Park, an informal settlement in Ekurhuleni.
Somizi posted – Phase 1 of food vouchers drop-offs went well….. we as @somhale_foundation we had an idea that the majority of our people are in need but had no idea how dire the situation is, we are pleading with everyone to help where ever they are and in their power. Anything would d be appreciated, clothing, food, blankets and anything off to east rand we go.
Somizi and Mohale join the list of mzansi celebs such as Dj Tira, Black Coffee, Minnie Dlamini, Bonang Matheba, Thando Thabethe and Lasizwe who have helped those in need to cope with the pandemic.
