Apart from being a staunch Pirates supporter, Mgijimi was also a member of the National Football Supporters’ Association, and speaking to the Siya crew, NFSA’s acting CEO Siyabulela Loyilane confirmed the sad news.
“The provincial coordinator from Mpumalanga is the one that broke the news to the group and at the moment I am trying to reach out to the family. I said to him, ‘You guys must recruit more members to join the platform.’ He was genuinely excited and for me now to get this news today, I’m in shock,” said Loyilane.
He loved his football so much…He dearly loved his @orlandopirates with all his heart and would travel countrywide to watch his beloved team!!
