Influencer Nadia Jaftha has opened up about her recent breakup with Xavier Haupt, calling the decision to part ways a mutual one. This comes just a few weeks after the Cape Town-based popular TikTok couple shared a joint statement on social media, announcing their split. News that Nadia and Xavier had called it quits caused a social media stir, with some users heartbroken that their cute TikToks would be no more, and some using the opportunity to shoot their shot at Nadia.
Nadia and Xavier shared at the start of the new year that they have decided to end their relationship. We have come to the decision that perhaps it’s best if we both embark on our individual journeys. We all love. We all learn and some of us return.
We’re deciding to trust the process whatever the outcome may be. We have no ill feelings towards each other and will continue to support each other. Thank you to everyone that supported our journey and we hope that you can understand. The beautiful thing is that we are both still on very good terms
In an interview on Good Hope FM, the model and entrepreneur shared that while the decision to end her relationship with Xavier, it’s not been easy dealing with their breakup.
“I think the beautiful thing is that we are both still on very good terms. We both understand where we are in each other’s journeys. It’s still very fresh. I’d be lying if I said I’m completely fine. But, I’m keeping myself busy, sometimes it feels like I’m kind of on auto pilot. I do what I can to heal and not be toxic about it. It was definitely a mutual decision, in the most respectful way. I don’t have anything negative to say about Xavier. He is amazing, I will always love him.
I hope he’s not listening to this. Nadia Jaftha has her own digital brand company and shortly after her breakup revealed that she bought herself a shiny, new red Porsche.
