Congratulations are in order for award-winning author Jackie Phamotse. The author has scored herself a Netflix gig, her controversial book Bare: The Blesser’s Games will soon be on our Netflix screens. The book is fictional but based on a true story.
Even though it has not yet been revealed who will star in the film, Jackie’s fans are already looking forward to the film. Jackie said she can’t reveal much about the auditions.
She wrote: “Reading my movie manuscript is wild!!!! Seeing my name and Sabelo together is insane! This guy worked on all the SA hits on Netflix! How do I have him on my team! God, you heard my cries! I’m in disbelief man! Oh, still can’t say anything about auditions, etc I’m already in trouble.”

The book released in 2018, received a lot of backlash on social media. Several people also called for the book, to be removed from shelves.
Same year Jackie was also dragged to court by media mogul and businesswoman Basetsana Khumalo over a tweet, this after Jackie tweeted that she overheard a conversation between one of her friends and a well-known TV mogul, The TV mogul pleading with her friend to not release a video of her husband in a compromising position. The tweet resulted in widespread speculation, implicating Basetsana and her husband.
Jackie has recently released a new book titled ‘Liwa’, She said Liwa is about women who kill! And also about “time we faced toxic females!” She said she has decided to turn the spotlight on “deadly women,” who are toxic and narcissistic humans.
Taking to her social media to share the good news, she posted a picture of her new book revealing that this year she will be releasing five books.
“Madame President, what’s on the educational agenda this year? Well, my fellow Africans, I value education so I will feed your minds; from the grassroots to the top of the food chain!
“This is the year of 5! I am releasing 5 books! 5!!!! Two adult books (books series) and a kids book series ( 3 books) they are all called Liwa! I will explain why soon! For now, start saving! We are coming for EVERYTHING! Cover models” wrote Jackie.
