Some of the actors are still in the industry and doing big things on the screen. However, others have not lived up to expectation and their acting careers have slowed or died down. Here are some of the cast members whose careers took a dive downwards.
Sipho Ngwenya is a South Africa musician and actor best known for his role as Ajax on the biggest soapie ever Generations. This character was adored by many and put Psyfo’s acting career to greater levels. He was so famous that at some point that Chris Brown visited him when he was in hospital.
After five years of acting on Generations, Sipho decided to quit and focus more on his music career. The famous actor has also featured on popular shows is South Africa. Sources say Sipho is now staying in Nigeria with his wife and living a rather quiet life.
Genevieve Howard is an actress, radio presenter and model who played the role of Grace Mashaba the illegitimate daughter of Kenneth Mashaba. On the soapie she was also involved with Ajax and the two were a couple most South Africans adored. Her role ended in 2008 and she was sad to leave the show.
The psychologist then focused on establishing a private body healing business and doing commercials. Since then her acting career has been on a low.
Kagiso Rakosa (Sharon)
Kagiso Rakosa played the role of Sharon who was married to Sam. She was part of the cast from 2005 to 2011. Her beauty and gorgeous body made her even more loveable. Sharon and Sam were a beautiful couple that made many wish to have one faithful partner.
The actress was meant to have a comeback but till to date her fans are still waiting. Since 2013, the talented Kagiso has been rather quiet and there are rumours that she might have a bay with Shona Ferguson. This is the reason why other think her career went down the drain.
Thabiso Mokhethi is an actor and TV presenter who played the role of Sam on Generations. He has also featured on popular show 7de Laan and Rhythm City. On Generations Thabiso played a soft and loving guy who did his best to make ends meet. People still remember him as Samuel from Generations up to date.
The actor has suffered depression and drug addiction after losing his mother and brother. Since the show ended, Thabiso has been up and down with his acting career but he has not lived up to expectation.
