DJ Tira blesses 10 families with free Electricity #MalumeLove

The popular DJ Tira is not a stranger in giving a helping hand in anything that he can. Dj Tira has joined other Mzansi celebs in giving a helping hand in these difficult times as the Covid-19 has taken over the lives of many South Africans.

President Cyril Ramaphosa made an announcement on Thursday night extending the national Lockdown with 14 more days.

The president said. “We did not take this decision to extend the lockdown lightly. As your president, I am mindful of the great and heavy burden this will impose on you. I am keenly aware of the impact this will have on our economy. But I know, as you do, that unless we take these difficult measures now unless we hold this course for a little longer, the coronavirus pandemic will ultimately come to our country.”

Dj Tira took it to twitter asking to bless 10 people that are struggling with their electricity, this is what he posted May “God comfort your soul with inner peace. Grant you good health, lasting comfort and relief from the burdens of life. I don’t have much but I’m willing to share the little that I have with you. Today I would like to bless 10 people with R500 electricity vouchers.” #MalumeLove

Almost immediately, there were thousands of responses with people sharing their meter numbers and hoping to be among the lucky recipients.

This morning Dj Tira’s fans posted tweets thanking him for the help that he gave to fellow South Africans in need.

South Africans are increasingly playing their part in the battle to curb the coronavirus spread.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Thursday evening a 14-day extended lockdown that will see people staying home until the end of April. The President and his cabinet announced they will be taking one-third of their salaries to he fight this global pandemic.
