DJ Shimza Opens Up About Terrifying Plane Scare

DJ Shimza suffered from a terrifying flight scare months after DJ Black Coffee escaped death in a plane accident. The DJ whose real name is Ashley Raphala was on his way from Paris coming back home to Johannesburg.

Shimza’s flight encountered a problem with its engine in the cruise phase just an hour and 30 minutes after taking off from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.

Speaking to Zimoja about the experience, the DJ said, “I’m not scared of such things, I believe in technology and the fact that if God decides, there’s nothing I can do. I was not panicking at all.”

The star made it known that he wasn’t scared but it was chaotic inside the aircraft; all his focus was on people who had bought tickets for his Kunye gig.

It was chaotic inside the aircraft, but my concern was the people who bought tickets and booked their tables, other than that, I knew there was nothing I could do,” he added.
