Andile Mpisane lands in trouble again after violating an interim protection order brought by his former girlfriend, DJ Sithelo Shozi. The Royal AM chairman and footballer has been at loggerheads with the mother of his kids, Sithelo. The DJ got a protection order against him after she revealed the abuse suffered in his hand during and after their relationship.
A warrant of arrest has been issued by the Durban Magistrates court but Andile is yet to be arrested, as Sithelo was urged to wait for him to violate the protection order again.
“She was advised to wait until the perpetrator violates the order again. We are worried about her safety but we have faith in the law that they will do what they are mandated to do and protect the vulnerable victims of never-ending GBV-related abuse,” Sithelo’s lawyer, Mabu Marweshe of Marweshe Attorneys said. Meanwhile, Andile and his mother, Shauwn Mkhize reportedly beat up a 41-year-old security guard for not permitting them to gain access to the VIP area at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
The guard who claimed to be diligently doing his job said they didn’t have the permit, yet they attacked him for refusing them. He promises to sue them, but nothing has been heard afterward.
