A-Reece’s electric performance got fans chanting his name all night – Video

One of South Africa’s top hip hop artists A-Reece got his fans singing his name all night after an electric performance. With the nationwide lockdown regulations reduced, A- Reece performed at one of his first live performances since mid-March when the lockdown started.

Donning a camouflaged jacket and a trademark cap, Reece dazzled around with fans singing along to his tunes.

Fans also got an opportunity to get a selfie with their favourite rapper and they were impressed by his humble gesture.

A-Reece’s fans have been waiting for his Album Paradise 2 which is set to drop before the year ends. Fans initially thought the album would be released on 10 August as they ‘spotted’ in the trailer, but until now they are still waiting patiently. A-Reece released a trailer to hype the album, inspired by The Matrix.

The trailer shows him being woken up by encrypted messages hacked on his computer which read: “Wake up, Reece…” The trailer ends wit “Enter Paradise, Unlock Your Residual Self Image.”

Fans believe the new album would bury every rapper in the game even after his bitter rival Nasty C has already released his Zulu Man With Some Power Album.
Born Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge, he became known as A-Reece after entering the Hip Hop industry at a young age. Reece was born and raised in Pretoria, Gauteng.

He was once signed to controversial record label Ambitiouz Entertainment but left to become an independent artist after disputes with management.
