Fake Kanye West Spotted Running Around Hollywood Trying to Get In Clubs With Entourage

Kanye West has an impostor “running around Hollywood” trying to trick people by allegedly using Ye’s clout to his advantage. According to DJ R-Tistic, who took to Twitter on Wednesday (July 26) to share news of the incident, the fake Ye pulled up to one of his events with an entourage and even asked him to spin some Kanye West music.

“Yooooo there’s been a fake Kanye running around Hollywood,” R-Tistic wrote, sharing a photo of the alleged culprit. “He came to an event I did yesterday and brought an entourage who told the doorman he was Kanye. He even came up n asked me to play ‘his’ music.”

DJ R-Tistic even attached a video from another Instagram Story of the fake Ye posing for paparazzi photos as onlookers questioned if it was actually the real Kanye West.

A TikTok user named @Travque also pulled up on the fake Yeezy and put him on blast by repeatedly shouting “Whose man’s is this?” at the impostor, who was draped in black threads from head-to-toe, while sipping a drink at an event.

As for the real Kanye West, he and his wife Bianca Censori have spent the last few weeks in Tokyo, but footage also surfaced of Ye earlier this summer at a party in Los Angeles.

The fake Kanye isn’t the first impostor in Hip Hop to gain notoriety. Lil Durk lookalike Perkio managed to turn being Smurk’s doppelgänger into a payday by charging for public appearances, and he even got to kick it with the real Durk.

It was a much worse fate for Izzy Drake, who the real 6 God hit with a cease and desist in October 2022, forcing him to change his name as he was done with Izzy’s antics.

The letter demanded Izzy to stop using Drake’s name, likeness, and trademarks, which they claimed were “damaging and defamatory” to the OVO brand.

“Notice to cease and desist,” the letter began. “Dear IzzyyDrake, this letter serves as a notice of your unauthorized use of the trademark, ‘OVO’ to promote your brand and likeness, as well as your unauthorized fabrication of media which is Per Se damaging and defamatory to our brand. Your conducted actions are unwarranted, unwelcome, and unacceptable.”

It continued: “In addition, this shall serve as a pre-suit letter demanding that you provide us written assurance within 7 days that you will cease and desist from making any further factually untrue statements involving OVO Sound and/or Drake, and that you will no longer fabricate media that portrays the aforementioned Trademarks. Thank you for your cooperation.”
